'a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step' (Lao Tzu)

I have never been one to write things down. I don't know why but I get easily sidetracked, and therefore tend to keep all my memories, experiences, and thoughts locked in my head. However, to prevent those simple moments from being lost, the numerous inspirational events from being lost inside my brain, I have been told to begin to write. I hope to be able to write through life's experiences and experience as well as remember them fully. From phrases to stories to simple words, I hope to document the journey I experience fully, and completely, leaving nothing out.

With that said, it all began by saying goodbye to my family at the airport, giving my baby brother two huge hugs, and with that I hopped on a plane to L.A. I felt pretty nervous, heading to L.A. Mostly for everything that was coming, but also for trying to figure out how to navigate myself through such a large place. When looking out the window, the lights on the land looked magical, and scattered, slowly turning into a gird pattern.

Once at L.A, it took a bit of a wait, and a bus ride out to the opposite side of the airport to reach the next plane, which was a 13 hour flight to Korea. Now, I have heard horror stories for such long flights. But it was actually pretty awesome. The f
ood was much better then other flights I had been on, and their was tons of room. And even though I had been the one to abandon the idea of planes from being completely surrounded by them as a child, I think I do feel a sense of comfort in airports, and planes. Anyway, that's enough rambling of simple things, and I soon have to get on another 7 hour flight to Kathmandu...
